[ ARTIST . STORYTELLER . EXPLORER ]
Raj Jain is a visual artist, filmmaker and writer whose practice explores belonging and becoming. Working across watercolour, drawing, writing, and film, he creates intimate narratives inspired by journeys, everyday architecture, and life between cultures.
His ongoing projects include Letters to Places, pairing paintings with handwritten letters; Train Journeys, documenting encounters across four continents; Unbound Ink, an autobiographical series exploring queer resilience; and a research-based body of work on pre-colonial expressions of gender and sexuality. His films have screened internationally in filmfestivals, while his visual art has been exhibited in Canada, with latest exhibitions in Czech Republic.
